Fuel filler neck legit?

My advisory to the driver is she must go drive from time to time to bounce the car around.

That is mostly nonsense, produced to get the gullible to watch it. Watching it, helps fund the individual who posted it.
You are stuck in the past. The future terrifies you so you go into denial. IPv6 addresses will be going into car parts. The "internet of things" concept has been around for a long time.

You do post some absolute nonsense.

My car already uses a bus system, it's many ECU's are keyed to each other, working on it, fixing it hold no fear for me, and if necessary I have the tools tap into, and recode the ECU's, should I find the need. You watch far too many scary, youtube videos.

Got fully refunded by aliexpress as well. Given my spotless reputation (on their platform), they didn't bother to wait and inspect the returned item that was a bit chewed up by pliers. So, the final cost of the job was an over-priced petrol can that had no use whatsoever. The job also reaffirmed my understanding of the japanese business practices. I am now better prepared if I have to deal with their carp next time.

No he's right. It's mostly BS with a sprinkling of truth in it. The funny thing is, towards the end, after 7 minutes of telling us how "impossible" it is, he actually says mechanics are buying bootleg software just so they can do the same think as the car manufacturer does with the laptop! Yes, that's exactly how you do it. Problem solved. Crisis over. Go back and try to find something real to worry about. He also talks about buying "hacked" stuff from Ukraine. Well, I guess that just means Ukrainian mechanics are smarter and more resourceful than American ones! :ROFLMAO:

That video is just what's known as "rage farming" and some people are a lot more susceptible to it than others...;)

Exactly, and just what I have done. The official, dealer way in, needs a system costing £10K. Adapt an OBD plug costing ten pounds, download some free software, and I can tap into the entire cars electronics, diagnose, plus should I wanted, entirely remap the engine ECU. Do everything the dealers equipment can do..

I began hacking into ECU's, back in the days of OBD I, on the early Granada's.

Ukrainian mechanics are smarter and more resourceful ...
Wrong. They get dragged into a van and sent to the front. The smartness isn't there.

... than American ones!
Wong. American ones say ukrainians did it and save themselves from being arrested. At times, they also say the chinese did it.

If car makers want to lock down their modules, they can. Modern security cannot be broken into without supercomputers. That means the only people who can do it are state entities such as the CIA and MI6, etc.

You haven't heard of CANBUS attacks then.

It takes more minutes to unscrew the wheel arch lining than to start the car and drive it away.
