Eventually yes. We are only at the start. The after market makers are goners. The silver lining is all parts will fit.

My car already uses a bus system, it's many ECU's are keyed to each other, working on it, fixing it hold no fear for me, and if necessary I have the tools tap into, and recode the ECU's, should I find the need. You watch far too many scary, youtube videos.

Got fully refunded by aliexpress as well. Given my spotless reputation (on their platform), they didn't bother to wait and inspect the returned item that was a bit chewed up by pliers. So, the final cost of the job was an over-priced petrol can that had no use whatsoever. The job also reaffirmed my understanding of the japanese business practices. I am now better prepared if I have to deal with their carp next time.

Eating sushi gives them ideas is all I can speculate why japanese related economy parts are unsatisfactory. I used to use japanese sports equipment. Same story there.
