Trump Calls On Starmer...

I'm no supporter of Trump, cannot stand the guy, but at least he makes his mind up and cracks on.

Really?

Tell me about the TACO tariffs. Tell me about the Royal Navy ships he said were not wanted or needed. Tell me about the war with Irsn he said was over.

Has he invaded Greenland and Canada yet?

Highwayman think we do should do what Trump tells us.

Most Brits don't.

Starmer is keeping the UK out, for now, because the UK military is in a shambles....it's been broken down and down...

It was a handy way for the Coalition Government to cut spending without most people noticing.

NHS waiting lists, trials not happening for years, and potholes came later.

In your post, after saying that, you go on to give an accurate and favourable appraisal of what Trump is doing. Two questions arise: 1) If person does a good job, especially a matter-of-life-and-death job, is it important that you must like that person? 2) Do you realise that when you say you "can't stand" Trump, what you cannot stand is the media-created impression of Trump, by the very media that Trump rightly despises and wishes to expose for its lies?

What do you think about:

Trying to imprison political enemies who criticise your policies or refuse to do your bidding.
Sanctioning lawyers who help people challenge your policies.
Trying to destroy private companies who refuse to supply their services to your government.
Trying to destroy TV companies who make programmes which sometimes make fun of you.
Removing secret service protection from political enemies.
Trying to ban news stations who tell the truth about a war.

The trouble with bring an orange idiot who surrounds himself with yes-men, and ignores or fires experienced and expert advisors, and allies whose help you might want, is that you end up making stupid decisions.

Who could have seen that coming?

Obviously not @James Carmichael

This guy:

"The US national counterterrorism chief has resigned in protest at the war with Iran. US army veteran Joe Kent said in his resignation letter to Donald Trump that he “cannot support sending the next generation off to fight and die in a war that serves no benefit to the American people”.

This may be the reason that Starmer resisted getting involved in another illegal war...

"Britain’s national security adviser, Jonathan Powell, attended the final talks between the US and Iran and judged that the offer made by Tehran on its nuclear programme was significant enough to prevent a rush to war"

Linky Linky

"Powell thought progress had been made in Geneva and that the deal proposed by Iran was “surprising”, according to sources.

Two days after the talks ended, and after a date had been agreed for a further round of technical talks in Vienna, the US and Israel launched the attack on Iran.

Powell’s presence at the talks, and his close knowledge of how they were progressing, was confirmed by three sources. One source said he was in the building at Oman’s ambassadorial residence in Cologny acting as an adviser, reflecting widespread concern about the US expertise on the talks"

The orange rapist and the war criminal bibi simply wanted a war!

Plenty of people fast tracked through the courts for doing that here

Could this be a thread where we all agree on a few things.

A) Starmer actually made the right choice for once (not sure if was by a mistaken u turn)
B) Trump is an orange (insert own appropriate term here) that needs removing.

Starmer didn't make a choice - he dithered and sat on the fence like he always does and by the time he offered support it wasn't wanted anymore.

Starmer will not do the right thing, as he is both reliant on the muslim vote and afraid of muslim violence. He is no Churchill.
