New High tech cameras to enforce 20mph roads

Regarding all your trolling - Seems you need to get off the roads . Zero common sense.

You can, I take it, produce a rational, intelligently argued case which shows that I've been posting cynically, just to create conflict? To argue for the sake of arguing as some kind of perverse fun? To sow division?

No - of course you can't. You accuse me of trolling because you cannot manage anything better.

That takes us full circle though. Unfortunately it's the few that spoil it for the many. And there's no way the authorities have the resources to enforce limits here there everywhere.

They enforce the limits, where it's easy, and worthwhile, where people naturally speed. Those areas where few do speed, are the ones where it is less productive, are the areas is more of an issue- the residential roads.

A high court judge is opposed to these LTN's...

That's old news and been posted here

All together now --- feel scammed yet

60% of people in Wales voted in the 2021 Senedd election for parties that had a national 20mph default limit in their election manifestos.

Did Justin produce any evidence that your statement is incorrect?

Whenever I go 20mph people get angry with me, even 30mph I get people overtaking me.

No, he's opposed to unlawful LTN schemes.

What you're saying is like saying a High Court judge is opposed to sandwich bars if he ruled against a particular sandwich bar in a particular case.
The LTN's referred to in that link were unlawful. That was the 6 LTN's referred to in the link and no others. Are you having trouble sleeping again? Try turning your PC off and going to bed instead of scratching around looking for an argument. You’ll feel better for it in the morning.

Subsequently, it has become deeply unpopular, with many councils now reversing the changes.

72% say they opposed the new limit. (yougov 2024).

There is no correlation between speed and accident rates
Interesting non-relevant fact.
Keep your eyes covered when you look at higher speeds vs fatalities and serious accidents and what 20 MPH is all about.

Motorways have the fewest accidents.
Glad you mentioned roads where there are no pedestrians or kids wandering about. Makes another valid argument in favour of 20MPH where they do exist.
Road safety officers and those in favour of slower speeds in built up areas, thank you for your support.

They are here to stay where they are needed. Expect more towns and cities to do the same.
They are not going away boyo, no matter how many experimental limits are reverted back.
