Look at the back of the tile you broke.

You can get reclaimed tiles individually and they often blend in better. Use the cherry picker next time

it cracked he end off at 45 degrees so doesnt really help unless I take the full tile out, bit worried I may not get it back in again without a full tile at the ready I might do more damage

I did, but I had to get out the bucket and it cracked under my foot

Take any one of the tiles out (away from valleys, ridge, verges) and have a look at the back.

Put your weight more on the ends. Double Romans are usually quite a strong tile though.

I didnt realise until it was too late, I was standing in the middle as it has a ridge so assumed it was the strongest part. worst thing is it is the bottom row of the tiles that just go onto a flat bay above my bow window

I would have thought that's better as it's easier to replace? As per @noseall, remove another r loose tile and look for a name printed on the reverse side

Thanks, I will do that tomorrow, being at home on the sick is proving disastrous for me. I keep doing jobs around the house but causing more damage due to my injuries. Once this tile is back on I am going to take it easy.
