Hi

1. I painted window sills last summer, used leyland arcylic primer undercoat and dulux satinwood paint. Line cracks appeared few months later. I sanded the sills today, photo attached. They are line cracks, will be hard to fill but will try and prime and paint again. Should I do anything else?

2. I hired tiler for the kitchen over 2 years ago, have issues paint cracking wall by upstand tiles, tiles are solid won't budge. Today, I removed the peeling paint. I remember very well tiler used filler tub from wickes for the gaps between wall and upstand tiles. The filler is coming of by scraper to a certain depth as in photos. What do I do now? Shall I apply diluted PVA and fill? What filler shall I use or tile adhesive?
Should the tiler have used tile adhesive and not Wickes filler in the first place?

Thanks

Don't know why sill is cracking but I drag a tungsten scraper to remove the top layers of paint back to good or really sand back to good.
Thin layer of 2 pack resin wood filler.
Sand smooth.
Zinsser Coverstain and leave for 7 days to cure. This will fix any potential problems.
Will denib nice with 240 grade sandpaper.
Acrylic undercoat
Top coat.
Don't mix brands.
If you use Leyland paint then use both the brands undercoat and top coats. It's tested for compatibility.

Tiles you want to fill gap?

Yes want to fill the gap between wall and tiles

Gyproc coving adhesive id use to fill.
As first mix is setting in about an hour mix some more go over.
Sticks to most things. Might take a week to dry and is hard but can be sanded.

Other option is toupret rock solid filler.
