Trumps attack on Iran - 2026 edition

How will the upcoming attack on Iran go.

I bet Trump now will divert the weapons going to Ukraine to Iran and drop Ukraine as a way of sticking up his middle finger to NATO. He will drop us in the s**t now with Russia.

Explain why this war on Iran should be any different.

Leaving the nuclear stuff to one side I'd be happy to see the IRGC destroyed simply to eradicate Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.

As an aside how come you sympathise with Libya, weren't they suppliers of explosives and guns to your IRA chums?

I would never support terrorist scum who murder British soldiers or police.
What about you.

Between 1945 and 1948, Zionist militant groups—primarily Irgun and Lehi (Stern Gang)—killed hundreds of British soldiers, police, and officials in Mandatory Palestine. Key attacks included the 1946 King David Hotel bombing (91 killed), the kidnapping and hanging of two British staff sergeants in 1947, and the 1947 Haifa truck bombing.

Key Groups and Leaders
  • Irgun Zvai Leumi (Etzel): Led by Menachem Begin. Known for high-casualty bombings, including the King David Hotel attack on July 22, 1946, which was a reprisal for British arrests of Jewish leaders.
  • Lehi (Stern Gang): Led by figures including Yitzhak Shamir (who later became Israeli Prime Minister). This group was known for targeted assassinations and using "truck bombs" against British police stations.
  • Haganah: While often cooperating with the British, they worked with Irgun and Lehi during the Jewish insurgency (1945–1947).

Ancient history.

You just voiced support for Libya on this very page. They helped arm the IRA.
I didn't voice support for Libya.
I said the war on Libya was based on lies.
Not the same thing.
Cameron admitted as much, although he didn't use the word lies.
He used the term 'faulty intelligence' from Mi6.
Anyone who believed that bullshit was suffering from Faulty intelligence themselves.
