Good old Greta

Seeing them? Eh?
Yes the AIS displays their info about the vessel and its name, without AIS they don't see this information, they still see the vessel on their radar. The only thing turning off AIS does is to stop them being tracked via the free apps.

That sea captain's course seems to be paying dividends.

And?

You mean tracking them - goddit. What has the size of the vessel attempting to see them or track them, got do do with it?

I still don't understand why you are quoting me. I have already commented on how conspicuous a 42 boat flotilla is, regardless of AIS. It was chicken biker that was fooled, not me.
That will go over their heads

International activists are preparing on Sunday to set sail from northeastern Spain to the Gaza Strip in a massive 70-boat flotilla, aiming to break Israel’s devastating naval blockade and deliver much-needed humanitarian aid. Dubbed the “Global Resilience Flotilla,” the initiative is the second of its kind in less than a year. It boasts a significant increase in participation, with about 1,000 volunteers from 70 countries taking part in the effort.

Pablo Castilla, a spokesperson for the flotilla, told reporters in Barcelona that the primary goal is to “condemn international complicity in the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, demand accountability, and open a humanitarian corridor by sea and land”.

Let's hope they switch their trackers on this time, so that old Pugwash can keep us up to speed with their progress. Poor old duffer could only see two of the 42 boat flotilla the last time.
