A pair of floundering soles. R

Yes the AIS displays their info about the vessel and its name, without AIS they don't see this information, they still see the vessel on their radar. The only thing turning off AIS does is to stop them being tracked via the free apps.Seeing them? Eh?

Yes I am a bit like Lord Nelson in that respect. I also look fantastic in sea fairing outfits,That sea captain's course seems to be paying dividends.

That will go over their headsAnd?
You mean tracking them - goddit. What has the size of the vessel attempting to see them or track them, got do do with it?
I still don't understand why you are quoting me. I have already commented on how conspicuous a 42 boat flotilla is, regardless of AIS. It was chicken biker that was fooled, not me.
Let's hope they switch their trackers on this time, so that old Pugwash can keep us up to speed with their progress. Poor old duffer could only see two of the 42 boat flotilla the last time.a massive 70-boat flotilla
