The UK being taken for mugs again.
Yes — this has been happening for at least 10 years from what I’ve personally seen.
I’m gay, and I used to go to the RVT in Vauxhall every Friday. Because I was there so often, I became familiar with the environment, the regular crowd, and the security. Over time, I repeatedly noticed a pattern.
Groups of men often presenting as Middle Eastern or Muslim would come to the venue, take group photos outside with the pub in the background, and ask about membership. The membership at the time was invitation-only, so they would try to obtain information and buy buying non-alcoholic drinks
However, when any gay person approached them socially, their reaction would often turn hostile or aggressive.
What stood out to me was that this appeared coordinated. From what I understood, these photos, wristbands, and any form of “evidence” of being in a gay venue were later used in Home Office applications effectively to support claims of being gay.
I believe this was acknowledged to some extent at the time., the owner of the RVT, even stated on the website’s membership page that they were working with the Home Office to prevent misuse of the system. That page was later removed after he face significant backlash and criticism, from the lefty mob, headed by former night czar Amy Lame. They take us far more than just mugs
