Heating of and glugging noise from one rad and a flow sound from another. Advice please.

my Heating is off and every so often there is a glugging noise from one rad and a flow sound from another. Is this normal?

Air in the system.
Corrosion inside radiators causes gas so treatment inhibitors stop this.
You can bleed system and check the automatic air vents are working and sometimes they need a tap or fiddle with air cap.
Seek out a plumber if you can't sort yourself.

Also combi boilers randomly pump water around even with heating off to cool themselves as they get hot heating water

Its a new worchester bosch greenstsar 4000 with new rads using existing pipes. If it was air would the water pressure not drop? Its currently 1.4 bar.

It's a sealed system.
Pressure should not drop. I top mine maybe once a year but that's normal through natural pressure drop.
Call the plumbers back for advice and talk about it so you understand.
Tell them about the air bubbles.

The next time i have heating on i will bleed the rads or will thst cause pressure to drop more?

Bleed rads when heating is off and radiators are cold.

When you turn heating on pressure raises so it needs to be cold and off.

Didn't the plumbers explain the basics?

I was always told to bleed rads when thry are warm as the sir expands and escapes better.

But you can't set the pressure correctly.
Also the air is bubbling around not sat at the top of radiators.

No, do it when cold, when the air has settled. You might not get much, if any, just the new system settling down.
