45 amp oven and hob connection

We're replacing our electric oven and hob. When they were disconnected from a chocbox, our neighbour who used to be an electrician said, it the wrong type and not suitable for 45amps, it had melted over one of the screws. We are now buying the necessary parts for the electrician to wire up the new hob and oven. (Photo attached of incoming power supply). Will this be suitable for connecting both to the power supply?

I'd say no, might be the picture (or my eyes) but it looks like half the live has been nibbled off, as well as being very short. As above, electrician will need to see that and decide if useable; parts needed likely in the van anyway and you won't be saving any money supplying.
