Greetings, hoping for some help please.

My daughter has slammed her window shut one day and somehow bent both keeps. Upon googling I thought I found the correct replacement, measurements are the same, but when I’ve taken the keep off today there’s just a code printed on the back - RK083F - when I look this up, there’s hardly any suppliers and the ones that say thy have them are out of stock.

The ones I’ve found are Kenrick: https://upvcspares4repairs.co.uk/kenrick-easi-fit-mushroom-keep-striker-plate.html

Does anyone know if they’ll fit if the measurements are the same? Would I be better with universal ones? The latter seem to have different screw hole locations

If the dimension are the same then will be ok , often new screw positions are needed .
(Lots of window spares retailer around the country, you could take a damaged one in to find a suitable replacement .)

Keeps although are kind of paired to the mechanism they're also profile specific meaning whilst the keeps look the same from above underneath they're all different as they mold around all the channels on the pvc profile so it's not as easy as it looks buying a Kenrick keep for a Kenrick mechanism, it's whether that keep fits your window profile as well

Agreed, which is why i asked on here ;). Unfortunately there are no markings on the mechanism, keep or anything else really. All I can see on the metal inside the DG is Neg Ltd. Windows are shyte imo as most need replacing anyway as they're starting to mist up, 17 years old.

All sorted. I contacted Kenrick, gave them that code above and they confirmed it's one of theirs. Thanks for the assistance.
