A teacher who sexually abused and murdered a baby boy he was adopting was given a whole life order in prison today.
Jamie Varley, 37, will die in prison for killing 13-month-old Preston Davey in July 2023.
His partner, John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, who also sexually assaulted the infant and was complicit in his death, will also be sentenced.
