Anyone had issues with the NHS App when changing details?
I tried changing my email address, ended up locking myself out and trying to open another without a new email.

I get so far but get stuck in a loop.
It accepts me, but I get so far and it says I already have an account and to log into that.
No way around.
I can’t.

I have contacted nhs support but it seems weird that there’s a massive loop you get stuck in where you almost get there, then nothing.
I had to find the link to support myself.
Hopefully they will get me back online as I mainly use that contact.

I log in app on phone fine and there is an option to change email address.
They then send a verification code to apply the change. I haven't tried but looks ok.

You can't have 2 accounts.
You have to login the original NHS account
 
I thought I’d changed emails successfully but now am locked out. You just loop around
Hopefully nhs it can kill the old account to allow the new one to take over
 
Sounds like you need help to sort it out.
Support will hopefully get in touch and fix.
These things happen to all of us, it's definitely happened to me

Have you tried using Patient Access. You can have that at the same time as the NHS App and it covers most of the same things. Not sure if you have to register it at your surgery or not as I can't remember how I set it up on my laptop.. Have the App on the phone aswell
 
I seem to have buggered that as well!
Hopefully I will get it sorted soon.

I live in the same house, have the same practice and phone number.
I work with IT, so it’s a mystery to me how everything’s messed up.
