Do you need to keep an accurate record of the hours you've worked?? Have you struggled to find a solution that works for you?

I had this problem and I wrote ClockOn to solve that problem for my needs:

Fast, simple, private time logging. It works very nicely but I'm now looking to increase its value - to find some unmet need, a niche in the market.

What requirements does your trade have that the existing solutions don't meet?

Cheers.

I need it to include post breaks. Very important to me.

'Post breaks'... Google says post-breaks are the things you do after a traumatic relationship breakup to recover form the heartbreak...

I suspect you're thinking more about supping a brew while stood around a post. Yeah, but let's be honest - that time's on the clock, right? ;-)

No, my post breaks are taken 4 times a day. Same time every day. Early morning, midday, early evening and then just before bed.

It could be of use to my daughter. She works from home but gets interrupted much. She currently records working time in a diary.
Similarly, when I worked a desk job I would work on half a dozen projects at a time, every day, tapping in to each for an hour at a time. Again, I'd simply record this in my desk diary. If your app has the ability to log 'job name' as well as start / stop times then it would be useful. Presumably, you get a summary at the end of the week?

Hi Roger, absolutely - you can set up any number of projects (it calls them 'accounts') and then clock on and off them as you like, or even switch from one account to another in one action (clock off one and clock on to another).
And then, at any time, you can view the records, arranged by week or month, for one account or all accounts in aggregate. You can also export the data if you need it on another system.
It also has a widget which runs on your home screen so you can select the account and clock on and off without even opening the app.
I'd be delighted if it were useful. But it seems a bit too generic to really 'take off'. I'm currently looking for that 'Eureka!' moment which takes it to the next level... all ideas very gratefully received!
