I, and every man here, could go out and buy the most expensive suit in the world, but if I/they buy one that doesn't fit that is not the fault of the maker.
True, but given a) the price and b) the designer of the garment and c) the fact that the dress would be getting a very public outing, I'd like to think that b) would have made sure the damn thing fitted, something that us mere mortals are left to judge ourselves, and sometimes get wrong.
