I can get 4.5% if I lock it away for 5 years, but rates will probably go up soon as inflation starts to rise.

I only got 4.41% over a year when I renewed one with Virgin last week.

That's not bad, I got 4.3% over 1 year, I could have got more for locking it in for longer, but as I said, I reckon the rates will rise.

I don’t know of anywhere giving 5% on an isa. When and where did you get it, is it a fixed bond and how long is it for?

We both got 5% on a 15 month bond from nationwide but only allowed to put £10k in.
