A bit OT but related. What annoys me is when government use the word free. e.g. up here the SNP love saying 'we introduced free prescriptions, free baby boxes, free bus travel for those under age x, free this, free that'.
No, what you mean is you introduced tax payer funded prescriptions, tax payer funded baby boxes etc.
I genuinely believe government should be prohibited from using the word 'free' in this context and should have to use the phrase 'tax payer funded'.
