Reform lead the polls

I think it needs tweaking, like their last plan. it is entirely possible to:
1) stop the pickup and handover
2) adopt a policy of early rescues going back to France
3) turn boats back at the border
3) No, it has been suggested and no one wants anything to do with it. People will die.

2) Not without Frances agreement and they've said no for decades. Farages bluster is unlikely to help.

1) I'm not sure what that means.

Don't you worry none, Andy has nicked reforms policy and is going to stuff migrants into all of those posh little villages because they are not doing their share. When it happens to your little village you will be happily manning the torpedo boats yourself.

We save them in French waters so its only natural that they are taken to the nearest shore for their safety which would be the French one.

1) currently we collect them at the maritime boarder as part of a handover. It avoids them escaping or needing fuel for the whole journey. It is very rare that any boat makes it to the UK with the occupants dispersing.

3) that isn't true. People currently die attempting the crossing.
2) They don't have a choice. Like Turkey with Greece, if you get 3) right, they will be heading back under their own steam.

3) We looked at pushing boats back before. It was going to require the Home Secretary to sign off on each individual use.
It is also really easy to game it, if the UK boats are trying to push you back then you're in British waters, so just hole the boat or jump in.

2)No, you know better, that's not how borders work.

Really none of this is new, it's the same amateurish failed policies recycled bysame amateurish politicians who've just jumped rubber dinghy to Reform

Do that then.
Or change the law.

No we sail into French waters and rescue them and take them back to the nearest shore - so happens to be the French one. The French are not rescuing them so its our duty to do so.
Its barbaric to watch and wait until they reach the half way mark, in fact the French should be rescuing them once they are in 6 feet of French Channel water.
Insted they just say "scuse em warr" don't do dat its dangerous (y)

A lefty will always see a problem when there isn't one. So they invent one to prevent anything ever getting done. The sooner they are a thing of the past the better. Step aside and let a party in that can do the bloody job.

That's an illegal intervention in French waters, they won't let us do it. If we insist what do you think they'll do, perhaps they'll stop enforcing their beach and coastal patrols and let more through?

Or change the law.
Why do you hate some of the oldest law we have that we have exported to the rest of the civilised world? Maritime law is effectively British maritime law and you want to **** all over it?

Perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps there's a simple quick easy way to stop desperate people eligible for asylum crossing the channel. Perhaps every single government and party since 2014 has been so wooly that they've chosen to hide it from us and never even suggest it.

Because all we're hearing now is people regurgitating stuff that was examined and rejected previously. Reform and Restore are supposed to be harkening back to some nonspecific golden age, but they can't even remember or learn from the last decade.

No one would notice the difference

Sounds like it old and ready for an update

its the likes of you brainwashed and refusing to acknowledge that they are econic migrants that is part of the problem

time for a different government to have a go, maybe one that have not had a go yet.

How do you know that? That sounds like an assumption to me.

Hell if I were a French far right party and the British government started invading our waters and dumping people on our beaches I'd probably start crowd funding rubber boats for donation.

You are so attached to the idea there's "one simple trick" to fix this that you're blind to the concept of there being reprecussions for your actions.

Just because the Tories did an awful job and Labour havent done much better that's no reason to think the corrupt clown party staffed by ex Tories and people who couldn't even pass Mandleson levels of vetting will be an improvement.
