Using a manual tile cutter on porcelain tiles?

Hi all, I need to cut one tile down, two straight cuts.

I’ve used my manual tile cutter tool to score the first cut, but apparently no amount of pressure from the lever is snapping that tile.

I don’t really want to buy/rent an electric cutter for just one tile, is there a technique I can try to snap it? Or does anyone know of shops that will cut a tile to size?

Put the smallest side of the score line in the jaws of a workmate so that the scored line is level with the top of the jaws and the biggest side of the score line is sticking up in the air.

Wear gloves and long sleeves for safety. Push on the part of the tile sticking up and it should snap along the score line.

I came across super hard porcelain tiles once.
I was cutting them with a manual cutter and then all my weight, one hand on each side of the score.
I didn't use the lever snapping thing.
They snapped perfectly though.
Try with a bit more force.

We have considered asking the guy who did our bathroom if he could cut it next time he’s in the area!!

We’ve tried pushing both sides and nada. Did you push close to the score line or towards the edges of the tile?

I think the workmate suggestion earlier could work, but I don’t have one here - it’s in my parents’ garage 2 hours away!
