I’m willing to pay more for a system if it works, and I expect similar yearly heating costs. I’ve already had some provisional quotes, with a full quote to arrive tomorrow. None asked about the pipework under the screed, including the chap providing a quote tomorrow. If I’d done as you suggested, I’d either end up paying for a system that didn’t work, or wasting £250 for a Heat Geek survey only to find I need a completely new radiator and pipe system, with the disruption that entails. Plus useful space gets taken up by a hot water cylinder.
