Because it's a sight hound it doesn't follow that it requires a muzzle.
If your dog needs a muzzle it's probably down to a lack of breeding and/or training.

It is called being a responsible owner, Boo is a gentle and loving hound and extremely well trained. We have had her for only a week and so taking her into a garden centre full of people she doesn't know along with other dogs especially small breeds, we do not know how she will react, therefore following the rules of adoption all newly adopted racing hounds must be muzzled in public until you get to know how she reacts. I would not risk her attacking someones pet or a child by not muzzling her. As it turned out she did not react to any of the above and was perfectly behaved as we suspected.
