Grandma's chicken salaaaad: her own recipe calls for tarragon so off i go to cut a fresh batch. No need to wash it after the rain, but i fancied adding a twist of oregano so began to move a clump of wild thyme away to get to it...when a big green frog leaped out the way, looking very vexed to be disturbed under his moist cover. I forgot, they love hangin' out 'neath damp thyme.

Decided not to have frog legs for lunch tomorrow.

Meatballs and spaghetti. Made my own sauce out of chopped toms, onion, garlic, mixed dried Italian herbs, tomato sauce, tomato purée and sugar.

So simple really

It makes me wonder now why people buy meatballs and burgers instead of the minced beef
