Jaymack, is that in a table somewhere?

my 2003 copy does not show any reference to the short circuit capacity on these tables or graphs. am I missing something? fig3.2B does not have any reference to 5, 15, or 30a fusing.
would it not be the housing/holder of the fusewire that would need to be rated for the fault current? if so would that not be a figure provided by the manufacturer or the housing/holder?
I'm kinda puzzled now

That appears to be how fast the fuse will blow, table 7.2 A of the OSG gives the short circuit capacity of BS3036 fuses as:

Type ---- Rated short circuit capacity
S1A ---- 1 kA
S2A ---- 2 kA
S4A ---- 4 kA

Think someone told me that the familar wylex type was the 2Ka type... However I'd not like to assume anything other than the 1Ka type without phoning wylex technical!
