I have a Firbird combi 70 boiler which continues to burn a hole in my pocket. Problem is low hot water pressure and recently when turning on the hot tap, the burner seems quite erractic, sometimes it fires up and runs as normal other times it fires up and cuts out after about 10 seconds and the water then runs cold. I have had a new flow switch, new pump and new mixer valve fitted within the last 6 months. I live in an area where the water is very hard. Anyone with any advice would be greatfully appreciated before I have to shell out more money.

Get a water softner for one! and then stop pouring money in to a pile of ****e and get a decent boiler for another
