Hi, I am looking to install one cctv camera at the front of my house, the drive is lit via a PIR sensor at night, only a small area 5 mtrs by 6mtrs.

I am planning to put the camera behind an unused external vent , preferably with no lights on it so it cant be seen and attention is not drawn to it, but with decent quality picture as there has been a spate of the walls on car tyres being syringed lately on my street. Other that blow my tyres up to 300psi and hope that they return, i think CCTV is best. I would only want to view any footage if i found my car on bricks or damage elsewhere. i would be after a DVR that would record till its memory is full, then loop back and start again (recording over old footage). . is this poss? can anyone advise me on what would be the best CCTV to have with a DVR?

Yes, easily possible.
Yu might want to look at the lighting arrangements again and where you were going to locate the camera. Half light and poorly positioned camera can result in images of no use whatsover - crimestopper vids on TV anybody?

What budget you looking at?

 what sort of cost would i be looking at, do you know a good place to source a camera and DVR (make and model would be great) thanks for your help!

A pin hole lens means camera can be hidden behind vent or installed in a most any other object.
Camera's output with normally be composite 1vpp 75 ohm, so most any DVR with composite or SCART input will suffice.
For night time go for an infrared light of no less the 920nm which is invisible to naked eye. 860nnm give the game away with their faint red glow.
