I believe that the best choice for bathrooms and kitchens is installing a laminate flooring. This type of floor treatment is much more durable and moisture resistant. no this would be the worst flooring you could chose. Stick with vinyl. lino ,karndean, amtico etc. Never laminate!

my father in law has just had his bathroom done and they used sheets of 1/4 inch marine ply to cover the exsisting floor , this also makes a nice flat surface for lino
