Adding an extra externasl wall light

Hi - have an existing arrangement with 2 outside light run from one switch. The 2 lights are at opposite ends of the house and I want if possible, to add a third light by adding a junction box in the wiring to one of the lights and running the new cable supply from there.

Does that make sense or have I missed anything?

Maybe. You need to supply more details of loading & cable runs & sizes
