DAB pump

Does anyone know if DAB pump body will accept other pump motors like Grundfos, Wilo or Myson. Have a dead pump in 180mm body that may be a pig to remove.

Most are not interchangable.

have seen dab pumps available in bodgeit&quality for less than 30 gbp

DAB are made by Grundfos - in the same factory. They carry a better warranty than their cousins too.

I thought that DAB were made in a seperate factory ( possibly in italy ? )?

But the castings are completely different and dont interchange with anything else.

They have only made a small impact on the UK market and I have not been able to come to any conclusion on their reliability yet.
