Am I getting screwed over

Just had a new bathroom installed and bought everything (ie just paid for labour). The quote did not origionally involved a towel rail so added one in - now they want to charge £300 for:

Changing position of pipes (3ft)
wiring for element and switch to outside bathroom
installing towel radiator

Did not know if that was a fair price or not - does not seem like 10 hours work (ie £30 per hour or whatever going rate is)

Any thoughts???

Drain the heating out, alter pipes, re-fill and test, add inhibitor.

Cable and fittings, and valves I assume you have supplied.

Travel to and from site including fuel etc.

VAT Blah de Blah.

£300 sounds reasonable to me

most bathrooms take me nearly 2 days, but hey am not the fastest and i charge 300, i don't use plastic pipe or flexi tap connecters, think that price about right, wiring for element? you having a electric heater in towel rad too? You would need to be part P for that so expect to pay more

Fancy a job in Leeds? Fitting an ensuite, shower tray, enclosure, wall hung basin, WC and moving a rad onto an opposite wall and replacing with a towel rad.
