hopefully not, but probably, trying to open another can of worms.....if you are trying to convince me that the majority of bikers make better road users my personal experiences disagree.

Better in what way - keeping to speed limits? Probably not . However, much better in terms of actually having more of a clue about what's going on around them and way ahead in front and actually looking beyond the end of the front wheel and being far more aware of bikers when they're in their cars, in comparison to non-riders, I would wager.

im not a biker and i have all of those attributes. im sure the two bikes i have clipped will disagree

i used the word majority as most seem hell bent on self destruction at the highest and most inappropiate speed possible. their ability to "look ahead" isnt going to help them much further than confirming that they are actually going to die.

joking aside the bikers who seem to be the sensible ones are the ones who dont ride hayabusas etc etc. they seem to be few and far between compared to the ones who think they have the riding abilities of that guy who died last week.

Only one. I went through a green light - the other guy was looking for street names and went through a red one. Nothing I could do other than T-bone him. No-one hurt - not speeding. He admitted blame. Now if that had been a prat doing 138mph - the story would have been different.

There's no such thing as a "car license" - it's a "Driver's License".

To answer the question that you meant to ask, convictions are applied to your Driver's License, which becomes revoked if you are banned, whether by totting up points or by a single offence.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that the percentage of serious accidents per drivers on the road is extremely high in the middle of the night. Thats why people in the entertainment industry pay higher car insurance.

As for all the stick snico been getting have you considered that when he's off duty he's a member of the public and he can spout his opinions just like the rest of us. I have to be serious in my job, but when I'm not there I'm a different person.

He stated his position as being from the point of view of a traffic policeman.

He claimed to be well trained, and consider that part of his job is driver education, but has done nothing to educate any driver on this topic, nor to show any interest whatsoever in doing so.

He declines to answer questions that are put to him.

He misread the OP, and issued a stupid comment based on that misjudgment, from a professional perspective, viz:
