No Recovery CD for PC

HI All,

My PC has packed in, think i may of had a virus or something, the thing wouldnt boot up, i have a bootable CD with some software on it, so i did a test of the Hard drive and it failed, i have everything i need backed up, so i wiped it, and now it passes.

Only problem is that it came with a floppy recovery disk, and i lost it ages ago, i do have the product key on the side of the pc.

I dont want to send £100+ for Windows XP, as i might aswell buy a whole new one.

Any way round this?

if it was windows xp oem borrow a copy from a freind and use your product key xp will install you may need to download some drivers from the manufacturers web site
