Following on from softus's poll for allowing smoking in pubs or not,how about allowing smoking on airplanes, when smoking was allowed airlines were not allowed to use recycled air and had to change the filters regularly now by using non smoking as an excuse up to 50% of air is recycled and on newer models 100% is recycled. Thus creating a lovely cocktail of stale air containing any number of germs for all to inhale.

And copious quantities of methane contributed from those that dont like flying.

But unlike fag smoke which stinks and is toxic, methane has no smell, nor is it toxic.

You can breathe it because it's not poisonous. It will however suffocate you. The component of a f*rt that makes the smell is hydrogen sulphide, the same gas that you might smell if you are sitting behind a car with a cat. When the car accelerates hard, you get the hydrogen sulphide being blown out the exhaust. Also it's the same gas they used to use in stink bombs, can you still buy them?

Not unless you've been eating eggs or something with a high sulpher content. What you actually smell is small particles of poo. If what you said were true then all farts would smell the same.

Smoking on a Plane ain't half as bad as those Snakes on a Plane!! They were lethal

What do you think Hydrogen SULPHide is? And, what do you think it is that makes poo smell?
