You need to make small changes to your smoking habits NOW. I stopped smoking in the car about 3 yrs before I quit and it always looks strange to see people light up in the car now.

Stop smoking in front of people too and designate a smoking area such as sitting on the stairs.

Its all about retraininng yourself for months BEFORE you actually quit.
