Need some help. This wall in the kitchen is wet through from the bottom up to about half way up. I have taken the plaster off as it was just falling off as its soaked. The wall is in our kitchen and I think its the original wall which now has an extension off it. Any help appreciated

Hi I have moved into a house which has a burglar alarm box on the kitchen wall. It is not connected to the box on the front of the house and I have no key for it. I want to remove it from the wall. Anyone have any ideas of what to do? Thanks
