Thanks for the reply. I didn't think 25mm was enough. Is there an under screed foil available that would take the floor upto regs? What about the slope of the floor do you think it would notice with rigid boards layed on it? I was thinking that the plaster board option might save some space...

Hi Yes it will be filled in with a few courses of bricks and a window. I think the difference in floor height is around 100mm. I will measure exactly and post. The chipboard on insulation baffles me slightly, I can't imagine the insulation standing the test of time, although I haven't seen...

Hello My Candy washing machine is about 2 years old and has decided to spin the programme dial on it's own, the dial just clicks round and around and lands where it likes. This doesn't happen all the time but it's enough!! Any ideas on the problem. Thanks Andy
