Hi, Thanks for the reply tictic, I've got 18mm T&G base and was looking at laying backerboard, I'm probably going to use a UFH mat now not loose wiring. I've read BAL is probably the best to use but very expensive, you pay for what you get I assume!!? Thanks Andy

Thanks iwaters for your feedback. So would it be better to lay backer boards on top of my t&g and then an insulated board before UFH, then tile. Thanks Andy
