Adhesive amount for underfloor heating

Hi all,

Is there a formulation of how much adhesive you require per m2 when tiling on top of UFH (loose wire)?

Is Everbuild 711 rapid flexi-plus any good for this application?

You want to be covering the ufh with a latex based self levelling compound
Using a plastic trowel...then when set use your flexiable adhesive...

Sorry never used...ever build adhesive so don't know if any good with your ufh and the substrate that you have...??

What is the substrate you have!!

Thanks for the reply tictic,

I've got 18mm T&G base and was looking at laying backerboard, I'm probably going to use a UFH mat now not loose wiring. I've read BAL is probably the best to use but very expensive, you pay for what you get I assume!!?
