Well you may still be right there :LOL: but I was actually referring to the "lashing" I also got from Mr larky on his very first post concerning rendering & all I was trying to do was save him some Building Control grief; haven’t bothered since.

Hey Rich, Chillo out, as i said i was merly trying to save you wasting your time on something that wasent related to the question i posted.

You don't need flexi on a concrete base! However, you need to prime it well. Also, you need fast set rather than standard set.
