    Thanks for the comments already, I'm showing my lack of knowlage quicker than I hoped. To answer the questions, the digital control unit is 230v not 12v as show in my link, appogigies. I've had a better look at the resistor and can't photograph suitably, but the diagram looks near identical...

    Thank for the reply, yes, there is an extractor as well. A steer to exactly which wires go where would be very much apriciated. I think there are done blue wires unused in the ceiling but don't know if they ate connected to anything.
