Many thanks
Hi all,
I attempted some plastering last year in my kitchen. When I knocked the old tiles off the wall, half the plaster came with it.
I PVA'ed it and plastered using a bag I had in the shed for a few years.
It did end up cracking a bit but as I was tiling over it, it wasn't such an issue...
Success!!!
Took it all out, cleaned all fittings to remove washing up liquid, chamfered edges a bit more and used a PTFE lubricate. Still had a little trouble pulling the coupling over but a gentle tap with a hammer and wood and it went on.
Not sure about the height of the branch but I won't...
Hi,
Definitely a slip coupling. No stops in the middle of it.

Hi,
I am installing a new waste branch into my soil stack. The branch arm will be located 35cm away from the middle of the waste outlet on the toilet.
From what I have seen on this forum, the token calculation is 1:40 (Inches) or 25:1000 (mm).
I have worked out that my gradient will need to...
Hi,
I'm planning on installing a new toilet situated directly beneath my bathroom, so I am planning on cutting into the existing soil stack and fitting a new branch. The soil stack runs straight into to concrete floor. I don't know how far the stack goes down before it reaches the clay pipe...
Hi,
I have a 70's build that has an external cupboard that backs onto our downstairs loo. The cupboard is under the loo window and is approx. 1 metre cubed making a rather large window sill. The external wall is cladded with wooden slat.
My plan is to knock out this cupboard to make the loo...
