boiler/ fault on central heating sensor

How quickly does the pressure gauge rise when you turn the heating or water on? Sensors don't make the the pressure rise quickly! Could be the pump/expansion vessel/blockaging

Worcester 35CDI II pressure low then too high! Help

Hang fire on the blockaging fella, have you had anyone in to to check the expansion vessel at all?. you say the boiler is leaking but is it leaking directly from boiler or from the overflow(prv)? Having expansion issues can stop the system working correctly.

new radiator has got me beaten!

Also if there are any bleed points around the boiler open them to let the air out, sounds like you haven't drained the system correctly

new radiator has got me beaten!

Just leave the system run as it is, depending on what boiler you have the pump should continue to run and push the airlock out, every 5 mins or so then reset the boiler and see if the rad warms

    0 Bar pressure on boiler

Same as your old com I boiler mate, when you look at the cylinder in the airing closet you will see the silver braided pipe with 1 or 2 valves on either end, just turn the handle till pressure teachers 1 to 1.5 bar then shut off. Keep an eye on the pressure over the next few weeks tho incase...

new radiator has got me beaten!

Forgot to say, leave the boiler temp stat on low to avoid the boiler overheating while the air lock budges, ok

new radiator has got me beaten!

Did the two rads work off the pipes originally, if so then I can't see any issues other than an airlock which is quite common on your type of system after any drain down

new radiator has got me beaten!

As long as you have only used the two downpipes(flow & return) then there shouldn't be an issue with the flow to the rad, but yes turn on the culprit rad and turn all trv's off on the other rads, if they haven't got an off position then turn off the lock shields an wait

new radiator has got me beaten!

It's possibly air locked, put the radiator back on and turn off all the other radiators then turn the heating on only, don't turn hot water on, unless it's gravity fed hot water, then wait to see if the radiator comes on. If there is no heat then trace the pipes back to the main flow and returns...

Valiant combi heater not powering up.

Just a quick throw in, is there a condensate pump fitted? If there is then they can cut the power to the boiler if they get blocked or the float switch sticks!

Baxi Solo 50/4 PF - Fan Not Working

Also, it is just a "GUIDE" !!!!! For generally qualified gas safe engineers!!!! As they will use their expertise to diagnose the fault in conjunction with the GUIDE!. This is the problem with guides being available to the user cos they then start thinking its so easy to fault find on boilers cos...
