    JohnD There are 7 in total MCB's. The downstairs sockets barring the kitchen are on there own ring. All the switches look fine...but if there was a fault in the wiring...wouldn't the MCB flip?

    replastering after downlights have been installed

    I am wondering whether or not its a good idea to install the downlights first on my ceilings and then plaster....(the ceiling have that crappy chipboard paper on them...which is near impossible to remove)..so i was thinking of just plastering over it...any ideas...which should be done...i guess...

    downlights installation in a flat roof (part of extension)
