I'd like to put up a Lean To over a paved area outside the kitchen door but the coverage will be over the flue from the boiler in the kitchen.
I pretty much want to mirror what my neighbour has done & continue mine across from theirs. Where their flue exits they have a 90 degree bend but instead...
I'm about to refresh the bathroom and install a shower over the bath. The house is nearly 10 years old with plasterboarded stud walls. Today I removed the extractor fan to give me an idea of the bathroom wall construction as from in the loft I can see it has a lining of OSB in addition to what I...
Hadn't given it a thought that perhaps they supplied interconnecting pipes. So is there any reason to why I couldn't locate taps or filler where I wish if I was to do connecting pipe work to suit?
I came across a set of taps in B&Q the other day which seemed an ideal solution to having taps at one end of the bath behind the shower screen causing you to be double jointed in leaning around the screen to turn them on.
I thought I could have the hot / cold taps in the middle of a double ended...
I've installed the above alarm recently but just have a quick question.
Should the RKPs illumination ever go out as both mine are illuminated 24/7 regardless of being armed or disarmed. The voice diallers illumination does dim so find it strange the RKP's don't.

I'm just installing a Texecom Veritas Excel panel along with the Texecom speech dialer. Reading the installation manuals of the two, neither really cover connecting devices of their own brand together, more of if connecting different brands to each other.
The choice I have I hope someone can...
Strangely enough I cannot find any signs of where the old light sourced it's power from. No old cables, no unused light switches, no connection boxes. Where the cable enters through the wall there is a light fitting immediately below however I've dropped this fitting and can't see how they could...
I have mounted an outdoor security light close to where evidently an old one was located. Very close to this is a hole which comes through into the house beneath the floor boards of the upstairs landing.
Now, can I connect this outdoor light (80 watt halogen with 9 watt PL-S) using the 1mm...

Having just moved into a property in a very rural location the missus is keen we get the house alarmed.

You need to activate RF2 from within the settings on your Sky box.
I'm about to rig up a magic eye myself but the Sky engineer enabled this for me when I told him my plans.
