was worried silicone would get water behind it or go mouldy when the windows get condensated up in winter?

but if i fill the gap up with just silicone sealer could it shrink and cause cracking or a split to appear along the bead? not sure what to use to fill the gap?

A coat of oil based undercoat first then the emulsion solved the problem. thanks

Not a diamond shape, wierd shapes and sizes but all in the width of the corner bead. Its not consistant, thers a patch of light shadow then its fine for a bit then some more light patches. There is no indenting the corners and wall parts are perfectly smooth with no lumps or bumps...

How could this be resolved? With some oil based undercoat?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Not a pattern but a shadow. Basically it feels smooth just the look of the metal pattern is showing through is a lighter colour than the paint on the wall. Kinda hard to explain.
