    Pricing

Have been working on my own for a number of months now doing mostly commercial and domestic work. Thing is I am struggling with pricing. It is always guesswork and I am going to have to start pricing by point like the rest of the world as i have hit a few jobs recently where I have made no...

    Temporary problem

    Temporary problem

There is no need for 25mm for all that will be on it. As I have said it is just temporary. Going to go for 6mm hituf protected by a 63a mcb. Maximum allowed is 63a according to table 4E2A in the regs. Actually is Hituff table 4D2A then i will drop the mcb down to 50a

    halogen problems

Recently I had installed two wall fittings. They are 40w halogen lamps (states on the fitting 40w max) with a dimmer switch on each. However there seems to be slight smoke coming from them after being left on for a short while. Any suggestions as to why this might be please?
