CH relay module switching bolier on intermittently?

Is the zone valve a "drayton mid position actuator MA1"? How do I go about checking that? Also how do i check the switched live terminal? I assume I need to remove the boiler case to get to the terminals. Steve

CH relay module switching bolier on intermittently?

I have a Honeywell wireless room 'stat HCW80 and an associated relay module HC60NG, I have done the teach in and the stat and module communicate OK, the green LED on the relay module goes off when the stat is turned down below ambient and on when it's raised above it, the LED on the stat goes on...

cleaning solid wood bamboo floor? Bona or not?

Hi I recently fitted a solid strand woven bamboo floor, very pleased with it too, however there are some stains and marks from general use and I would like some advice on the best way to clean the floor? The place where I got the floor suggests Bona floor cleaner, is this the right stuff? Ta

    Threshold and t bar height?

12 ft is a big expansion gap?

    Threshold and t bar height?

Further to the above I contacted the supplier and he said I should glue the threshold to the floor. I questioned this as I felt if it was fixed to the floor, then surely if the floor expanded and moved so did the threshold? If the other side of the T was also fixed to the other floor...

    Concrete repair advice

Hope someone can point me in the right direction: I'm preparing a floor prior to laying solid boards on a mainly marley tiled concrete floor, previous Q and A have confirmed I'm OK to just fill the 6" untiled gap between the tiles and the edges of the patio doorway. However now I've lifted...

    Threshold and t bar height?

I've just taken delivery of a strand woven bamboo floor, the planks of which are 14mm high, and mouldings to suit, allegedly! However the recess or rebate?, excuse the incorrect term, in the mouldings is only 10mm and the overall height of the mouldings is 15mm so these mouldings will never sit...

    Expansion gap?

Thanks again, just got to find some 15mm thick skirting now.

    Expansion gap?

I know more questions........ Sorry Anyway here goes. 4mm expansion gap per m correct, is that at either end or total? Room is 3.22m x 5.1m so 13mm gap and 20mm gap respectively, but 10mm min at either end is what I will probably go for, would that be OK? Ta

    Plank size, what's best?

Great, thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it and I definitely agree the horizontal looks best. Now to burn a hole in the credit card :)

    Elastilon or Glue it down?

Thanks, seeing the other post you're answering re' plank size I'm going to get the longer, wider planks albeit 14mm high and will give it a go as it is. Maybe try and fill the gap, I'll see what it looks like once I get the boards in. Early 70's construction is a right pain in the behind...

    Plank size, what's best?

Thanks for the advice, wide board it is then. When you did sell it which was more popular, and I appreciate it's only an opinion, better: strand woven, or horizontal? I think I'm sold on the carbonised as I like the darker look. I think the opinion on strand woven is that it is stronger?
