So, and the fact I'm asking these questions might mean I shouldn't be doing it, but are you basically saying do: Office Wall>VCL-backed insulation>garage wall.......and cross fingers?

Really? Can you tell me why? From my side, I thought because the other side of the wall is going to be used, heated and then as such the warm air will be hitting the MUCH colder air on the garage side (the side you can see in the pic) that moisture will get caught in the insulation when I out...

Nope, not an active line. Broadband is via Cable, and we don't use landlines at all. Everyone is saying BT should be sorting this but they just keep asking if it's a "junction box" issue. When I ask them to tell me what exactly they mean (after I've explained the situation) I get hung up on...
