Yeah mine case is Im not professional and I dont have all the tools. Also because of home/work commitments on many occasions cant finish the job. I usually on do an hour or so then have to pack up. Also as in my case I have to work around the furniture (even though covered). Hence why I paint...
Ceiling are a mare with matt. Its taken me some time to work out. There are a few vids on youtube. You must roll in the same direction with the same amount of paint. I paint in same direction then final turn on one side to the other throughout. So working alone width. One thing to do is not...
Its technically called flashing. Its from a number of reasons including - painting drying to quick, over working the paint - dragging, poor quality paint. If you read up Tikkurelia Anti reflex is the good to on this one. Having read and read up on this issue buying quality professional paint...

You you continue up with colour until you reach the flat ceiling. It also depends on the look you want in some modern designs you paint it all the same colour. Personal choice but a bedroom needs to suit the natural light/funishings. Personally every room has its own colour.
Whats your go-to for mid priced good matt finish?
So far Ive rearched Crown trade Xtreme, Johnstons acrylic durable Matt, Technos. But I want a good wipeable paint that Matt finish. Its doesnt have to be hospital quality just strong enough to wipe down. Drying time is not an issue like...
You need to shop at a Rabats or similar paint shop. If you look at Painters Pitshop they constantly use Benjamin Moore paints for gloss ScuffX etc. The issue is that is going to cost you.
From kitchen experience use oil based. I used a waterbased on my kitchen after 123 and its chipped where the users nails have picked it. Especially with children. It looks an absolute mess. I would look down the route of professional oil based primer then topcoat like a solvent based...
Plus. I did some filling on the walls. I applied a good coverage of zinnser over and still get that nasty sheen over the hole. Im really at a loss with Optiva.
Im not sure if its my walls however for my last project the Hallway I hired a professional sander and painted peel stop all over.
However for the 2nd time I find this paint peels easily especially if anything leans on it in error. I find its floating on the surface.
I like a durable paint...
Its not about the colour of the units its the gloss level. Mine was cream shaker in a dull melamine (magnet kitchen 15 yrs old) Im happy with the 123 I scratched it and nothing came off. Plus I dinked it and only the paint marked the primer was unaffected. My understanding is if you have a...

BIN is shellac which I think is better than 123 and more suitable for very glossy finish. I used 123 on mine and its stuck like glue great stuff. But make sure you use roller and get it covered in plastic. Tikkurelia should be very good too.
I used Tikkurelia Helmi 30 on mine in F&B colour =...
